The city of Almaty is the largest city in the Republic of Kazakhstan with population about 1.2 million. It also used to be the capital of Kazakhstan for more than 70 years. It is located in a picturesque area in the foothills of Tian Shan mountains which are 2nd highest in the world. Finally, it is the place where I was born and grown up, so it is a really special place for me.
